iPad 3G’s Are Now On Sale

The Apple iPad 3G version is now on sale and available through Apple. I personally own the Apple iPad in both the Wi-Fi version and the new 3G version and I believe that the 3G version is the best electronic device that I have used in the last 10 years because it includes all of the benefits of the iPod Touch and iPhone but on a much larger scale. The iPad has a 9.7 inch big screen and this means that listening to music is more enjoyable while pictures look better and games are easier to play because the touch screen is easier to touch. If you love the iPhone then you need this device because it has all the features of every other Apple product and it is not very expensive for a tablet computer device.

I purchased the 3G 16 GB version and the cost was $629 in addition to paying for the Internet service that is provided by AT&T. You can also purchase a limited Internet usage package for $15 a month but I think the unlimited package is the best deal. What I love about the 3G version is that you have access anywhere you go. I have been able to use this device to connect to the Internet while hiking up mountain trails. If you are looking for a device that will allow you to stay connected to the Internet then this is the one since the 3G service is built in. The webpages load fast and there is no lag which is something I love. The device also features the ability to listen to music, watch movies and play games. I also download applications from the iTunes app store and I have used the iWork programs to create presentations on the bus while traveling to work. The application also gives you the ability to store your work online which is a great feature because you can access it from any computer. What I love most about the iPad is that it does everything that the iPhone does and better so I can downgrade my phone plan and just use a basic plan. I can then use the money that I save on my phone bill to purchase a nice iPad case and some food at the store. I also love that it is light and easy to carry and I believe everyone should purchase this from the Apple store. The past Apple products include the inventions of the MacBook and iPod and if history is any indication then the iPad will evolve into something you can’t live without due to the amazing applications that are flooding the app store and making our lives easier than ever.

Cheap Laptops For Students

Are you getting ready to start going to college soon and are looking at your options when it comes to finding the best laptop? A laptop is essential for anyone who is currently attending college or who will be attending college. Sometimes you will have instructors who talk faster than you can write and you will not be able to catch everything that they are saying to write it down fast enough. With a laptop you will be able to type your notes directly into a text document and have them on hand when you are ready to study for a big test. You will also need to do a fair amount of research for some of the papers that you will have to write so you will need to have a good laptop to do your research with. Here you will find some of the best cheap laptops for students.

One of the most popular laptops on sale for students is the Toshiba Satellite. You will find several great features such as the 15.6 inch screen that will help you to have everything that you need for typing notes and doing research. This laptop comes with the latest version of Windows which is Windows 7 and has all of the storage you need for saving your documents that will be important for your classes. You will have 500 Gigabytes of storage which means that you will be able to store four years worth of notes. You will also get a DVD drive, an Intel Core processor, and a great graphics package making this one of the best laptops to study for finals on.

Another great laptop for sale that college students like is the Compaq Presario. You will get many similar features that you will get with the above Toshiba including Windows 7 and a 15.6 inch display, but this laptop has a few different features. One thing you may notice is that it has half of the storage capacity of the Toshiba with a 250 Gigabyte hard drive, but that is still more than enough space to store your notes for the four years you will be in college. Also, instead of just having a DVD player you will get a DVD +/- R burner. That means you can make backup copies of your favorite movies or make presentations for your classes on a DVD disc.

There are a lot of other very cheap laptops that are perfect for college students that you may want to check out, but these two will give you plenty to make it through all of your classes and perform all of the tasks and assignments that you will have. If you are going to be attending college you will need to have a good laptop with you at all times.

Why You Should Be Getting A Netbook

You’ve probably seen great netbook dealsadvertised in many computer stores these days. Yes, netbooks are making a big splash in the world of computing, and the reason is simple — they’re cheap and yet they come with great functionality.

When netbook was first introduced in 2008, it came with just enough processing power to handle non-CPU extensive tasks such as web browsing, email checking, and document processing. This has however changed over the years. The quality of netbook keeps improving. Netbook manufacturers like Asus, Acer, Dell, and Toshiba continue to release new netbook models with better specs and design over the years. Now it has come to a point where a netbook is almost as capable as a standard laptop — some of them even have enough horse power for gaming and high definition movies playback!

Of course, there are some features that a netbook still cannot compete with a standard laptop. For instance, a netbook is lack of optical drive, having a lower-end CPU, and comes with smaller screen and keyboard. But as a netbook user, I can tell you that these “limitation” actually give some advantages to the netbook. Here’s how:

  • Lower-end CPU: Most netbooks today are using the Intel Atom CPU. While it’s not as powerful as the processors that other mainstream computers are using, it’s more energy efficient and thus providing better endurance. The Asus Eee PC 1005PE, one of the netbook with the best endurance, can provide up to 14 hours of battery life!
  • Lack of optical drive: There are two benefits for not including an optical drive in a netbook. First, it drives the netbook’s price lower; and second, the netbook is lighter. You can always get an external optical drive when you need it.
  • Smaller keyboard and screen: This makes the netbook more portable and incredibly easy to be carried around.

Now comes to the most important question: which netbook is the best? There’s no exact answer for that. Asus is good at creating netbook with great endurance; Toshiba has the best keyboard design; while Acer is well known for their competitive netbook price. In terms of popularity though, Acer does seem to be one step ahead of the rest — affordability is still the most important factor in this era of economic crisis. Just look at some Acer netbook deals online, and you will be surprised by how cheap these mini computers can be!
