When purchasing a laptop/notebook it is important in the current economy to look for the best price possible. Of course, quality should never be sacrificed for a low price but with some quality research and time dedicated it is possible to find a great product at a great low price. If you’re looking for laptops and notebooks on sale, take a look at the coupons and codes here before you buy! Also, read our tips on buying <a href="http://laptopsonsaleonline.com/"title="" >laptops for sale!

1. Look at sales ads for local stores that sell laptops. Most stores come out with new sales ads on a weekly basis so it is a good idea to look at these sales ads for at least a month to see if you spot the lowest price. By investing time in looking at these ads you are sure to find the sales patterns of the stores and you are also sure to run across the best sales on laptops.

Get $20 off any item priced over $1000 Use promo code “20offpromo”. Click here.

Up to 15% off select customizable laptops at Toshibadirect.com

Refurbished HP Computers at affordable price! at CompuVest.com.

2. Search online for the lowest prices on laptops/notebooks. There are some great websites that offer computers and electronics at discounted prices. Often times people are most successful in getting some great prices on laptops on the internet because there is such vast competition and there are so many more options than at local stores.

Stackable $250 off HP Pavilion Notebook PC configured at $1,199+! Code NBC391885.
3. Keep your eye out for computers on clearance. Often times you can find laptops/notebooks on clearance at local electronic stores or on the internet. You will likely find the best prices on laptops/notebooks when they are on clearance. One drawback to this is that the product is probably discontinued. Be sure you are still able to have warranty coverage even though it is a clearance item.

$20 off the purchase of an HP Desktop or All-in-One Desktop PC configured at $100+!
Inkgrabber.com – Get 10% OFF + Free Shipping on orders over $75 via code: 10OFF75 (excludes OEM & Media items)

4. When purchasing a laptop/notebook on sale, discount, or clearance always be sure that you are purchasing a quality warranty with it. You will often find that the computer has a warranty through the company that makes the laptop. This is great to pay attention to because it will further save you money from having to purchase an additional and expensive warranty from the store. If you find yourself spending a lot of money on warranty through the store it is almost as if you are not saving any money at all from the sale.

10% Off – Top Norton Products at Symantec (code: 10NORTONSTORE)

Get $9 Off any Order at TheNerds.net!

Purchasing a laptop/notebook does not have to be a difficult or expensive process. With the right preparation and product research you can find a quality laptop/notebook at a fantastic price. Follow these tips for some great success when shopping for your new laptop/notebook on a budget.

I remember that a couple of years ago laptops were expensive and quite exquisite, as only a bunch of people could afford them. A lot has changed since then, but even today, people are still looking for deals and bargains on laptops.

Such deals are usually available all year long, especially when a new line of devices is announced and retailers try to get rid of old stocks. However, the best sales offers can be found during late November and December, the period officially called “Winter sales season”.

Regular laptops now run from around 400 bucks to as high as 3 to 5 thousand bucks, for the highly performing gaming rigs (like Alienware). It’s a vast range and anyone can find something suitable in between. Expensive laptops might get price cuts from time to time (significant I might say), but they’ll still remain pricey.

Standard and cheap laptops however can drop from their regular $500-$600 bucks for instance, to as low as $350-$400. I am expecting the biggest drops on November 27th this year, during Black Friday 2009 day. You might be able to get some very good Black Friday laptop sales offers that day, especially as early birds (products only available early in the morning, as “baits” to lure people in stores) . These deals however run out incredibly fast, and you might have to get in lines early in the night and fight some angry shoppers to get to them.

Online webstores offer good bargains on laptops too. I would suggest scooping Dell’s or HP’s homepages on Black Friday and the week just before Christmas if you want to profit from the price cuts.

Also, if you want, there’s the alternative of the smaller cheaper notebooks called netbooks. You could get some of the best such netbook computers for around $300 bucks, and they are good enough for most standard applications, while being very light and offering incredible battery life (around 6-7 hours).

Last but not least, you can go for refurbished laptops. They are usually 20 to 40 % discounted, but might have minor scratches and faults and come with only up to 6 month warranty.

In the end, I’m pretty sure there will be some very very good deals on laptops in the following two months. It will be just up to you to be able to profit from them and get the desired product for the desired price.

Everyone is on a budget or at least they should be. we all need to watch where we spend our money and make sure we get our money’s worth. We never want to buy a laptop at full price, we also don’t want to got it for free either. What we want are laptops on sale.

I know many of you are saying “I can get a laptop for free?”, yes you can, but at what cost? There a marketing programs out there that will ship you a laptop for nothing as long as you jump through a few hoops first. Right now you’re thinking that it may be worth it. Think again.

You have to go ahead and sign up with their program first which won’t cost you anything. Then you have to fill out a lot of personal information. After you get that done, they will ship you your laptop. Wrong.

Nothing in the world is free and sooner you realize that, the better off you will be. Everything has a price and this is no different. How can a company that gives away free laptops stay in business? They can’t and that’s why they work with affiliate programs.

You need to subscribe to something if they want to get paid from those sponsors. it may be a credit card company or another type of business. You say, “so what, I’ll cancel it after I get the laptop”. Wrong again. There are cancellation fees that apply. If you think that just because you get turned down for the card, you’ll still get your laptop. Don’t count on it. In the fine print it states that you must qualify with the affiliate to get the freebie.

There are some companies out there that are legit, but remember it’s a free laptop. Do you really think the quality of it is going to meet your needs? I doubt it.

Remember, you get what you pay for so if you’re wise, you’ll go out a pay for the laptop that you need.

In my last post I spoke about where to go in person to buy laptops on sale. This post is going to look at places to go online to make your purchase. I know from experience that there are more places to go online than there is to go in person, especially if you’re looking for <a href="http://laptopsonsaleonline.com/very-cheap-laptops/"title="" >very cheap laptops.

The first place I’ll talk about is Dell.com where the site is easy to navigate and won’t drive you crazy in the process. The first computer that I ever bought was done this way though Dell. At the time I didn’t have any true knowledge about computers and laptops, but the site made it a lot less painful for me. Let’s fast forward ten years and look at the site that it is now. The choices now seem to be endless and even easier than before to use. You have the option to build your laptop the way you want it and that even includes choosing the color. To help keep the price down you can alter certain options to fit your needs as well.

Gateway is another laptop and computer maker that has their own site. Their site is also easy to operate. As with Dell’s site you can also build the laptop of your dreams, but if you read my last post, you’ll know that I’m not to pleased with their products. No that I mention it, their post-purchase customer service wasn’t too good either. To each their own, this is only my opinion.

If you want you can also go to the “big box” stores that offer a website that you can purchase laptop or <a href="http://laptopsonsaleonline.com/notebooks-on-sale/"title="" >notebooks on sale but since they sell many different brands and you are dealing with someone that you can’t see, it’s pretty hard to know if they know what they are selling you. For all you know they might be reading off cue cards to get though the sale.

Last but not least, there are some small mom and pop’s websites out there that are very good (as well as some that are real bad) that will take good care of you. I have one colleague who has used a couple of these places to buy his laptops and said that he gets great service from them. I won’t mention their name or their site, but believe me there are some small sites that will give you a great deal because they want to get your business.

Circuit City is one of the “big box” store that you can go to for <a href="http://laptopsonsaleonline.com/"title="" >laptops for sale. They offer many different brands like Dell, Gateway, Toshiba, and much more. Their staff is at best is average, don’t get me wrong they’re good guys who will try to help you, but remember that you are dealing with a big box mentality company that will hire people who have most of their experience from their personal use of the computer. Some do have advance training, but not all of them. I’ve bought one of my laptops from them and when the laptop crashed on me, they had to send it out to their service department. I didn’t get the unit back for four weeks and then three weeks later the wireless program locked me out and again it was sent elsewhere for another three weeks.

Best Buys is another of the “big box” outlets that will help you quite a bit. Their staff (The Geek Squad) have a little more to offer than Circuit City. It seems that Best Buys has a higher standard when hiring techs for those positions. Since they also sell many brands, it hard to find someone there who knows everything about every brand.

If you what a knowledgeable employee to assist you then you need to go to a Dell store nearest you. Unfortunately they don’t have one in every city, but if there’s one in your city then consider yourself lucky and take advantage of going to them. The product is great and the staff is well versed in their stuff. I’ve never had anything happen to my Dell computer and I wish that I bought their laptop before I bought a Gateway. using laptop coupon codes can help you save more money.

The last place that I will talk about is Gateway stores. Again there’s not one in every city, but they have more knowledge about their units than going to the “big box” stores. The staff is only trained to know, sell, and repair their laptops and computers. In my opinion though their product leaves something to be desired. I know many people who praise their computers and laptops, but I’ve not had any good experience with Gateway.

We always want to get the best for our money spent. We never want to pay too much for anything. To save as much as you can, the best thing to do is to shop around and compare. That includes when shopping for laptops on sale. There are quite a few ways to save when buying a laptop, but just because the sticker price is lower, does that really mean you got the best for your money.

When comparing laptops, not only do you need to look at GB’s, MB’s, MHZ’s. How about the CD/DVD? Are they both of the same caliber? Let’s not forget the programs too. Make sure that they both are using the same OS. Look into the spyware programs, there seems to be many of them that ain’t worth the box their packaged in. McAfee and Norton are two of the well known ones, I like both of them so I don’t favor one over the other.

If you were to go on Dell’s or Gateway’s website, you would see that they both offer the basic programs (some on 30-60 day trial period), but do you really need them after the trial period ends? After that period ends those files take up space on the hard drive unless you remove the program. Hopefully you won’t accidentally erase a shared file. Save your self the time with Dell. You can select to have no productivity software installed and if you talk to an operator, you can go through the list of other programs that you’ll never use, especially those trial ones.

You can visit many sites to download free programs, but again you need to watch where you get them from. There are a few site that are well trusted that you can use, the one I’ve used in the past is download.com. Why pay for the same program when another trusted site offers it for free?

If you’re in the market for <a href="http://laptopsonsaleonline.com/very-cheap-laptops/"title="" >very cheap laptops, I hope this article has given you some direction.

When we talk about average consumer we talk about people like you and me that enjoy internet browsing, emailing, some work and play some games: not a professional in software or, programming so most likely you do not need to purchase the most expensive latest ones. Laptops on sale, made a couple of years ago will meet your needs and save you hundreds of dollars.

Will you use your computer at business meetings or take it to family trips? If that is the case choose a lightweight one and do not forget to purchase a carrying bag with resistant straps. If you will use it mostly at home, then you won’t need such a compact light one that might be more expensive. Besides you can choose a wider screen that will save your eyes some effort.

If you plan to take advantage of a dsl connection and download music and movies you will need an optical drive such as DVD-CD/RW to store you files and a higher RAM (Random Access Memory) to assure a faster performance. If you will also play games Video RAM will matter as well. So decide the use you will do of your laptop as these mentioned features would noticeably increase the price.

You are an average user not an expert so please make sure your laptop has a good warranty, especially when buying <a href="http://laptopsonsaleonline.com/very-cheap-laptops/"title="" >very cheap laptops. If you buy a top of the line expensive laptop I suggest an extended warranty for a few dollars. Check for customer support service availability too. It is upsetting having a problem with your computer and not being able to solve it right away.

If you will be taking it on travels frequently three suggestions apply: purchasing a long life battery, an extra one and insurance against loss or theft. Again, depending on your particular needs and budget you can lower your costs buying a refurbished laptop. This is suitable for average consumers that use them just a couple of hours a day mainly for Internet surfing or emailing.

Finally, ask for a laptop with enough USB ports and memory upgrade capability. Once you start enjoying your laptop you can get more into it and require more. You might want to get some plug in devices and more speed and memory. It is definitely cheaper and easier to upgrade it instead of buying a new one again.

Are you looking for laptops on sale? Of course you can go ahead and scour the intenet, run to all electronic stores, or even go through the newspaper. If you’re looking to get a good laptop for low cost, take a glance at the Asus Eee laptop.

The Asus Eee laptop is like the little engine that could. One of the smallest <a href="http://laptopsonsaleonline.com/"title="" >laptops for sale that are available is this one. The overall size of the unit is only 8-3/4″ x 7″ x 1″ and weighing less than 1kg. Making it quite easy to carry around without the bulkiness. Fits in a briefcase, handbag , pocketbook, or even a small knapsack. They claim to be more durable to bumps and shocks to the unit. Which is a good thing, I would think that something the size of a notebook and just as thin would take any abuse.

It’s size is not the only thing that’s small. You can pick one up of less than $400. What’s inside is a 1.6 GHz Intel atom processor along with an Intel 950 graphics card, 1GB if RAM, a 80 GB hard drive, 512 cache memory and a few more items that make you want to give it some thought. As for start up speed, Asus claims the Eee is usable with Lixus booting in about 10 seconds (give or take). You can shoose to use Windows and take a fe more with that OS. When compared to a Mac, they’re ready in about the same time.

The programs that are available as standard with the Asus Eee are Microsoft Works, along with Star Office8 office suites (speedsheet, word processor, calender programs, database and much more. Keep in mind that with the 80GB hard drive, you sure have more than enough room for other software programs.

It seems that the Asus Eee at it’s regular price is like finding other <a href="http://laptopsonsaleonline.com/"title="" >laptops on sale.
